FleishmanHillard Begins Operations in Sao Paulo in Partnership With Grupo in Press

SAO PAULO, Oct. 20, 2014 – The Brazilian communications holding company Grupo In Press and FleishmanHillard, a strategic communications firm that is part of the DAS Group of Companies, today announced the beginning of operations of FleishmanHillard in Brazil.

An established global leader in reputation management, brand marketing, public affairs and other practices, FleishmanHillard provides integrated communications solutions to businesses, associations, governments, healthcare systems and organizations of all kinds. The new FleishmanHillard office is located in Sao Paulo, the largest city in Brazil, and will further strengthen the portfolio of Grupo In Press, a leading, full-service communications holding company in Brazil founded in 1988.

Junia Nogueira de Sá, a senior journalist with an outstanding career of more than 30 years, has been appointed as managing director of FleishmanHillard in Brazil. She has in-depth experience in leading successful strategic communications, public relations and public affairs programs for private and public sector institutions, such as Grupo Abril, Grupo Telefónica, Volkswagen, the Industrial Federation of Sao Paulo (FIESP) and the Secretariat of Communications of the State of Sao Paulo. As a journalist, she held relevant positions in various Brazilian media, including Veja, Exame and Folha de Sao Paulo.
